ONE WEEK OUT!!
As you should already know, the FCC deadline for payment of fiscal year 2017 regulatory fees is September, 26. We are now one week out. Reg Fees must be paid by September 26th, 2017 (11:5p ET).
Fees are owed on all authorizations held on October 1st, 2014 or held on the fee due date.
The process for regulatory fee payments must be initiated through the FCC's on-line Fee Filer system. All payments must be made by on-line credit or debit card or by wire (for which additional procedures apply) or ACH. Full payment must be received by the September 26th deadline in order to avoid the 25% late payment penalty, plus interest and processing fees.
If the sum total of all regulatory fees to be paid is $1,000.00 or less, including fees due from all FRNs associated with the same TIN (Taxpayer Identification Number), the Commission considers the regulatee to be De Minimis, and no regulatory fee payment is due.
LIMITATIONS ON CREDIT CARD TRANSACTIONS: As in the last couple of years, the U.S Treasury will not process credit card transactions greater than $24,999.99. Multiple transactions in one day are aggregated and treated as a single transaction subject to the $24,999.99 limit. The available electronic alternatives are Visa or MasterCard debit cards, Automated Clearing House (ACH) debits from a bank account, and wire transfers.
